How the correction of vertical heterophoria (VH) can reduce or eliminate the above symptoms
On April 14, 2021, Dr. Gushiken attended a webinar on: “A NeuroVisual Approach to Binocular Vision Dysfunction Featuring Vertical Prism.” The speaker was Dr. Debby Feinberg, the principal optometrist at Vision Specialists of Michigan.
Her seminar covered the diagnosis and treatment of vertical heterophoria (VH) in patients with various debilitating symptoms (e.g. dizziness, neck ache, nausea, headache, anxiety, sensitivity to light, sensitivity to sound, difficulty walking, and difficulty reading). Dr. Feinberg has successfully treated over 8,000 patients with these types of symptoms using vertical prism.
If you or someone you know has these symptoms, Dr. Debby Feinberg would be the expert to see. Her website is: www.vision-specialists.com
If traveling from Hawaii to Michigan is not practical, Dr. Gushiken may be able to help you. Dr. Gushiken has not been personally trained by Dr. Feinberg, but he understands the basic concepts that are involved in the screening, examination, and lens prescribing of vertical heterophoria.
